Fund Story The Cedar Glade Fund provides support to the Corydon Presbyterian Church in delivering assistance to needy, low-income persons in Harrison County and provides support to youth residing in Harrison County. The Cedar Glade Foundation was originally established with the Corydon Presbyterian Church as a bequest of Thomas McGrain.
The Corydon Presbyterian Church was founded in 1819 and is over 250 members strong. It is located on Hwy 62 in Corydon. "We are very fortunate to be able to work with CPC on the creation of these funds. Their members are constantly out in the community helping others, through programs such as Habitat for Humanity and Repair Affair," said then-HCCF Executive Director Steve Gilliland.
Fund Impact: 2005 - Supported the Corydon Presbyterian Church in delivering assistance to poor persons and youth residing in Harrison County Indiana. 2007 - Local mission work 2009 - Assistance to poor persons and youth residing in Harrison County 2011 - Assistance to poor persons and youth residing in Harrison County 2012 - Assistance to poor persons and youth residing in Harrison County 2013 - Assistance to poor persons and youth residing in Harrison County 2014 - Assistance to poor persons and youth residing in Harrison County 2015 - Supported human service organizations that support the moral development of children and young adults, as well as organizations providing assistance to disadvantaged families and individuals 2017 - Supported the charitable programs of the Corydon Presbyterian Church and its mission to the needy of Harrison County and the Boy Scouts 2018 - Supported the outreach and mission programs of the Corydon Presbyterian Church; supported Repair Affair and Shared Mission programming 2019 - Supported the youth of Harrison County to attend summer camp

The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) is committed to being a resource to help address the needs as they arise in our community resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak. The
HCCF COVID-19 Relief Fund will provide flexible resources to our nonprofit organizations serving Harrison County residents as they address immediate and long-term needs. HCCF will serve as a
partner in the effort.
