Fund Purpose Provides scholarships for graduating seniors of Corydon Central High School maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5, involved in extracurricular activities at the school and having regular attendance.
Fund Story At their 40 year class reunion held in May 2006, the Corydon Central High School Class of 1966 decided to create a scholarship fund with the Foundation. The fund provides one-time scholarships to graduating CCHS seniors who are accepted into and attend a certified vocational training program or an accredited two or four year institution of higher learning.
The Class of 66 wishes to set an example and encourage other classes to create similar scholarship funds for their schools. The class feels an endowed scholarship is a wonderful way to give back to the community and set a new graduate on the continuing education path. This was the 100th fund created at HCCF and received a dollar-for-dollar match.
