Fund Story Established in 2011, this endowment helps to preserve important natural land areas and family farms in Harrison County. Land stewardship activities and environmental education programming are included. To date, three conservation easements have been established and are being monitored with support from the fund.
Fund Impact 2016 - Supported easement monitoring in Harrison County: Jawtak, Hausz, Troncin agricultural conservation easements. 2017 - Paid consultant fees for organizational development assistance including board training, committee development, and website development; conducted two educational and outreach workshops in Lanesville to inform landowners about options available for protecting farmland 2020 - To support easement monitoring in Harrison County Jawtak, Hausz and Troncin agricultural conservation easements 2023 - To support Agri Conservation Easement Stewardship Inspections/Monitoring in Harrison County Indiana for Jawtak, Troncin, Hausz, Hess, Haggard in 2021 and 2022
