Fund Purpose Encourages the creation, appreciation and availability of classical arts and literature in Harrison County, Indiana.
Fund Story “Music, arts and literature have been important in our lives and we think they are important to the future of Harrison County. We hope this fund will encourage public support for this essential element of the community. We can imagine people donating to commemorate band victories or a child’s first recital or to honor local artists.” An anonymous donor made these comments upon establishing the new Classical and Fine Arts Fund of Harrison County at the Harrison County Community Foundation. The donor added, “The fund is broadly defined and the Foundation can use it imaginatively. If it grows, which doubling from the Foundation will certainly help, then everyone can look forward to more concerts, art shows and literary events.”
