Online grant applications are accepted anytime throughout the year.
Before you begin an HCCF application, please review our Grant Making Policy & Procedures November 5, 2018.
Beginning in 2018, HCCF will require nonprofits that apply for funding to have at least one current board member who has completed an HCCF-approved nonprofit board governance training program. To help nonprofits meet this requirement, HCCF is offering Building Dynamic Boards of Directors training three times a year. HCCF began holding nonprofit board training sessions in the fall of 2015, and they have been held three times each year since 2016.
The next session of Building Dynamic Boards of Directors will occur on March 5 and March 12, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. both days. Participants will sharpen their knowledge of nonprofit board development, fundraising, strategic planning, managing change and other topics essential to nonprofit boards of directors. Attendees must attend both days of the training session to qualify for the Certificate of Completion.
Before submitting the required online application, applicants must call the HCCF staff to request to have their completed online application reviewed before submitting. Many grant applications are denied because they are incomplete. Examples include failure to submit with authorized signatures, uploading an expired Form 990, and submitting insufficient financial information. Reviewing will assure uploaded items are current and the application is 100% complete. This does not reduce or replace the applicant’s responsibility for the content of the application.
All applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on February 28th to be considered. Grants awarded will be no more than $2,000.00
Youth Philanthropy grants are focused on supporting young people and their communities. Requested grant funds should be used to offer a range of activities for those aged 13-19 years old. Grants are intended to engage youth in society by creating healthy, guiding relationships with adults, providing constructive free time activities, offering character–building opportunities, and encouraging a sense of community. Activities can include, but are not limited to, arts, music, sports, leisure and other activities where young people can make friends in a fun and safe environment. Priority will be given to grants that identify innovative and challenging ways to engage youth to participate.

Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) COVID-19 Relief Fund
The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) is committed to being a resource to help address the needs as they arise in our community resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak. The HCCF COVID-19 Relief Fund will provide flexible resources to our nonprofit organizations serving Harrison County residents as they address immediate and long-term needs. HCCF will serve as a partner in the effort.
If you would like to join us in helping meet the need, you are invited to make a gift to the HCCF COVID-19 Relief Fund. Gifts may be made online at hccfindiana.org or by mailing a check to HCCF, PO Box 279, Corydon, IN 47112. Make checks payable to HCCF with "COVID-19 Relief Fund" noted.
