Foundation provides workshop series to assist nonprofit growth
Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) is thrilled to announce the Nonprofit Growth Series, a string of workshops aimed at helping nonprofit organizations serving Harrison County grow and thrive. The first workshop in the series will be held Thursday, March 9, in the HCCF Conference Room.
“The Nonprofit Growth Series is designed to provide practical tools that assist organizations in achieving their mission,” said Michelle Dayvault, HCCF Director of Development. “The desire is to empower nonprofits to make an even bigger impact than they already do.” The workshop series will cover various subjects, including grant writing, operations, fundraising, and more. The first workshop will cover topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in rural communities. Other workshop details are forthcoming.
HCCF is partnering with 20/twenty Strategic Consultants out of New Albany, Indiana, to bring this offering to the community. The professionals of 20/twenty, alongside the staff team at the Foundation, provide many years of combined nonprofit experience. With this experience comes an understanding of nonprofits' unique challenges to make a difference in our communities.
Attendance is free for the first workshop, but space is limited, so be sure to register early and secure your spot. To register, please visit hccfindiana.org/events. Nonprofits of all sizes and stages are encouraged to attend.
