Corydon, Ind. (October 14, 2026) – The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) currently has two adult scholarship opportunities available, with applications due before 4 pm EST on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Through these scholarships, HCCF continues to support higher education and empower Harrison County adult residents in pursuing their educational and career goals.
The first scholarship available is the Adult Scholarship Application – Cycle 3. HCCF Adult Scholarships exist to assist Harrison County adult residents in completing an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or certificate training program. Applicants must be 25 years or older, residents of Harrison County, have required ID verification, and not currently hold an associate, bachelor’s, graduate, or doctorate degree. In 2025, HCCF awarded 13 adult scholarships, including majors such as Business Administration, Career and Technical Studies, General Studies, Geoscience, History, Medical Imaging, Paralegal Studies, and more.
The other available scholarship is Miles’ Fund. This scholarship provides support for students pursuing a trade or vocational program. Funding may be used for tuition, books, fees and required tools, uniforms, or supplies. Applicants must be 18 to 21 years old, residents of Harrison County, have required ID verification, and be enrolled in a trade or vocational program. Since the fund’s establishment in 2013, it has been awarded to 21 students.
“These scholarships serve as a great reminder that it is never too late to achieve your educational goals. I encourage eligible residents looking to return to school to explore these opportunities and consider how furthering your education or training could open doors for your future,” said President & CEO Julie Moorman.
