HCCF Awards $779,700 to Class of 2026
Corydon, Ind. (June 26, 2026) – The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) awarded $780,700 in scholarship awards to 108 Harrison County graduating students in the Class of 2026.
“Being selected for an HCCF scholarship is a remarkable achievement that says a lot about these students’ character and perseverance. The Foundation is excited to see how they will continue to learn, lead, and make an impact in this next chapter,” said Matt Rothrock, HCCF Board Chair.
For nearly three decades, HCCF scholarships have provided more than $14.6 million in financial assistance to deserving Harrison County graduating students as they pursue their educational goals.
“Each scholarship awarded is an investment in the future of Harrison County,” said Julie Moorman, President & CEO. “For the recipients, the awards are a meaningful recognition of their hard work and dedication. For the community, they help ensure recipients have the opportunity to learn, grow, and give back in meaningful ways.”
Scholarship recipients are impartially selected by a countywide Universal Scholarship Committee through a completely blind scoring process that considers academic performance, extracurricular involvement, community impact, and other scholarship-specific criteria.
The Foundation extends its gratitude to the donors, scholarship fundholders, and supporters whose generosity makes these opportunities possible. Their contributions have helped generations of Harrison County students pursue higher education and achieve their goals. Through their commitment to investing in the future of Harrison County, they are strengthening both individual lives and the long-term success of the community.
