Two events offered to assist nonprofits in raising and stewarding funds

Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) will offer two educational events in June. Both events are free to attend for any board member, staff, or volunteer of a Harrison County-serving nonprofit.

Fundraisers Group - Join us on Thursday, June 7, 2023, for a presentation on “Limited Budget Fundraising” by Jamie Longacre from noon to 1 pm. Jamie will share some ways you can fundraise when you only have a small budget to work with or when you have little to no marketing budget. Nonprofit Growth Series - “Operational Excellence” presented by Ian Williams will take place on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 10:30 am to noon. Important information about internal controls, including cash & donation controls, segregation of duties, bank reconciliations, policies beyond bylaws, succession policies, conflict of interest, document retention, whistleblower, and more, will be discussed.
