Corydon, Ind. (May 23, 2025) – A new endowment fund has been established at the Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) to honor the lives of community leaders. Charles and Jill Robertson love their community deeply and are continuing to leave behind a legacy of giving that has inspired the next generation.

The Charles and Jill Robertson Family Scholarship Fund was recently established by the Robertson’s children, Will and Katie Robertson. The scholarship fund’s purpose is to provide support to a graduating student from North Harrison High School and, over time, an additional Harrison County graduating high school student. Preference will be given to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in an academic, vocational, trade, or certification course of study such as electrical work, welding, heavy equipment operation, construction, or engineering.

Endowment funds are a way to support causes one is passionate about forever. The original and subsequent gifts to the fund are invested to generate additional, ongoing support for the fund’s chosen purpose. This scholarship fund is one of over 330 endowment funds held at the Foundation – each reflecting the lasting generosity of a community committed to making a lasting difference.

Since 1998, the Foundation has provided funds each spring to graduating high school students for non-renewable scholarships. HCCF currently holds over 100 endowed scholarship funds that were established by residents, local colleges or universities, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations invested in the future generations of Harrison County.
