Six Applications Now Available on the HCCF Website

Corydon, Ind. (February 14, 2025) – Applications are currently available on the Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) website for high school students, college students, and adults. In 2024, HCCF awarded a total of $858,131 in scholarships.

The applications currently available with a submission deadline of March 31, 2025, before 4 pm EST are:

  • Adult Scholarship Program for Summer 2025 courses – exists to assist Harrison County adult residents in completing a bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or certificate training program. Applicants must be a resident of Harrison County, Indiana for a minimum of two years, 25 years or older, and not currently an associate, bachelor, graduate, or doctorate degree holder.
  • Miles’ Fund – provides support for students studying in a trade or vocational program. Students must be between the ages of 18-21 and legal residents of Harrison County, Indiana.
  • IU Southeast Harrison County Education Scholarship Fund – provides support to students attending IUS and enrolled in graduate level courses in the School of Education and employed by a school corporation in Harrison County, Indiana.
  • Lucy Hornbeck Bless the Children Fund – provides funding to assist Harrison County, Indiana youth to attend church-based camps. A sponsoring church must request the funds on behalf of youth.
  • Juan J. and Rudee Rodriguez Teacher Travel Fund – established to assist with professional enhancement travel for certified educators teaching full-time in Harrison County, Indiana public schools with at least three years of teaching experience.

The application available with a submission deadline of April 1, 2025, before 4 pm EST is:

  • Harrison County Hospital Foundation Fund – provides support for applicants who are graduating high school or have graduated from high school within the past five years and plans to complete higher education in a hospital, medical, or healthcare-related field. Applicants can be residents of Harrison or Crawford counties in Indiana, or Meade County, Kentucky.
